The Milk Cubby Pro is our best-in-class breast milk cooler, built into a black and gold professional backpack with room for your pump parts and personal items. One bag carries everything you need to pump, chill, and bring your milk home.
A removable insulated cooler sits in the backpack's bottom compartment. Packed with three frozen gel ice packs, it holds up to 24 oz. of breast milk and keeps it cold for up to 24 hours. No fridge required.
Pumping is work. The Milk Cubby Pro gives you the gear to do that work anywhere your day takes you.
Who it's for
The Milk Cubby Pro is made for pumping parents who are on the move and want one bag that does it all:
- Commuters who pump at work and carry milk home each day
- Parents who travel for sales meetings, conferences, or client visits
- Long travel days, road trips, and day trips
- Parents spending long hours at the NICU
- Anyone who wants deskside milk storage without relying on a shared fridge
What's in the box
- 1 black and gold Milk Cubby Pro backpack
- 1 Milk Cubby cooler component (removable; sits in the bottom compartment)
- 3 reusable gel ice packs
Please note: bottles and Lansinoh breast milk storage bags are not included.
About the gel ice packs: The packs use a non-toxic, food-grade gel that will not liquefy, leak, or spill into your milk. The gel is made from organic, plant-based, non-GMO, biodegradable ingredients that are FDA GRAS listed, and it is colorless and odorless. Each pack is sealed in a tough, recyclable polyethylene wrapper with heat-welded seams that resist punctures, tears, and splits.
How to use your Milk Cubby Pro
- Freeze all three gel ice packs flat so they sit easily at the top or sides of the cooler. Freezing can take 12 to 24 hours depending on your freezer, so overnight is the minimum.
- Place the frozen ice packs in the cooler in the backpack's bottom compartment.
- Pack your pump parts and personal items in the top and side pockets.
- After each session, seal your milk in storage bags or bottles and place it in the bottom cooler right away. Body-temperature milk is fine; the cooler will chill it.
- Secure the cooler lid every time, and keep it closed as much as possible to hold the cold in.
- When you get home, move your milk to the fridge or freezer, and put the ice packs back in the freezer flat for tomorrow.
Important: Breast milk must always go in the bottom compartment, inside the insulated cooler, with the ice packs in place and the lid secured. That is the only part of the backpack designed to keep milk safely chilled. The top and side pockets are for pump parts and personal items only.
Tip: Label every bottle or bag with the date and time you pumped. Follow your pediatrician's and the CDC's guidance for how long to store milk.
